1) My Sem 1 GPA
So what if I am a Ex ITE student? So what if I am 2-3 years older than you? I still got into local polytechnic using genuine results right? What makes you think than ITE student can't make it? Oh so you think that WE "ITE" students are wasting spaces, seats that are meant to be reserved for more deserving people? What makes you think that we are not that deserving people? Sorry but honestly speaking, I had seen people who had partial their whole life, people who deliberately absent themselves, people who DGAF about their presence in school. This are the people that are wasting seats that are meant for even more deserving people. I can really relate to this because back then, my grades met all the minimum requirement, however I could not enrol as the seats were all taken, well FUCK THAT, guess what? how many people actually make it through to semester 1? TBH it really depends on the individual itself, I had seen lots, been through lots, "CHANCE" something that is given to everybody, and it is up to you to treasure it. I truly believe that everyone gets a second chance, however if you do not treasure it then don't blame it on people don't blame it on god for making you go through tough time go through hell.

 

 

Anyway Semester 1 GPA had just recently got released, and i'm proud to say I did pretty good for semester 1, achieving a GPA of 3.5. Not only that I was pretty shocked when I got inducted into the director's roll of honour. I would really want to thank the facilitators in my W64R class for continuously giving us tips and advice on how to ace the exams. HAHA i still can remember the next day was UT3 of cognitive, and the facilitator suddenly whatsapp us saying who want to meet her at town for revision and to hug Buddha leg haha, lol really. But thanks anyway, also would like t thank all the programming gods (they attain that status due to their inhuman ability to understand codes that seems like barcode
to me) and guess what because of them i got an A for programming haha wtf.

2) Recent happenings

I am the type that cannot have boring things in my life, so you could probably guess that i have lots of things in my life that are happening all at once. I personally really like planning events and participating in them. With experience from my previous college which is ITE, i had joined STORM. STORM is actually an IG group in Republic polytechnic that holds and plans many of the few popular and important events in RP. well i never really thought that i would be actually in the STORM committee as well, before joining i had already heards lots and lots of rumors saying that SOI do not mix well with SOH, why would an SOI student be in SOH based IG? wouldn't it be weird to have a SOI student lead a SOH based IG? bla bla bla. Well guess what? all those are really bullshits and all, look at where i am now. I'm being treated as an equal in everyone eyes, in the committee we even clique well, no conflicts and such. We had lots of fun together, going to meetings, to designs and acting as a committee during events and such. The experience is really enriching and something that cannot be bought.

3) Bucket list

i had a list of items that was recently been strike off my bucket list and here some of them

1) Participate in a mass fun marathon event
2) Get a gaming console
3) Get a local data bundle for my phone
4) Enrol in local polytechnic
5) Go to Halloween horrors night
(actually there is more just that i didn't want to post haha)

1) Participate in a mass fun marathon event

2014 had really been a great year for me, personally my lucky number had been 4 all along. I know there a Chinese saying that 4 is a bad number as it means 死 or death. But 4 had really been a lucky number for me. Firstly i had always wanted to join as a participant in a mass fun marathon and i actually did it this year which was the color run.  2) Get a gaming console

Well who doesn't like games? i personally play them haha but all i ever wanted was a gaming console and guess what? i actually gotten a PS4 this year haha take note ps"4" HAHA

 

 

 

 

3) Get a local data bundle for my phone  

 

Can you believe it? i actually gotten my first handphone during my sec 2 period up till now I've change my phone every 2 years when my contract ends, but one thing that never change, data for my phone. I never had data for my phone ever EVER before, always relying on WIFI and hotspots. I can see my friends saying that they literally will die and feel weird not having data on their mobile phones, no messages from their whatsapp, not being able to scroll through their social medias on the go in public transport and such. If you had no data on your mobile phone you would surely understand what i go through every single day. The moment you reach home, BOOM you see thousand of messages on Whatsapp, you spent almost an hour trying to catch up and see what happened in your social medias and such. Well that will not happen again, i finally convince my parents to provide data for my phone. Likea finally i know haha. And after that number of years i own a phone, i actually will get my first ever personalised data on my mobile phone in the year 2014.

4) Enrol in local polytechnic

 

To be honest i actually tried enrolling into a local polytechnic for the last 3 years ever since i completed my "O" levels. So yup i went through the hard way and enrolled in RP in the year 2014. REALLY REALLY want to thank the guy or don't know who that accepted me into Republic Polytechnic, from the bottom of my heart thank you!!

 

 

 

5) Go to Halloween horrors night

 

Ever since Halloween horrors night got introduced to Singapore, I had always wanted to go but every single time, shit happens things got caught up, mandatory things to do. Halloween Horrors night was introduced in the year 2011, but during that year i got "O" levels and i couldn't go, NEVERMIND. Halloween Horrors night 2 was in the year 2012, but that year i was repeating my "O"s and i couldn't go again, NEVERMIND. Halloween Horrors night 3 was in the year  2013 but that year i had my final Higher Nitec examinations which meant a lot to me as it means if i could finally qualify to go Polytechnic, thus i couldn't go again. Literally i missed 3 years of Halloween Horror night and this year i actually had nothing, but i knew something might appear again and didn't bother to buy the tix but when my best bud actually went to participate in some radio contest and won a pair of the tix and actually wanted to go with me, DA HELL YEAH IM GOING!! and guess what Halloween Horrors night "4" the 4th year in its running.

 

 So now you see why i say 4 is my lucky number? things that meant a lot to me was given to me in the year 2014. Events that i am going are happening in their 4th year of running, gaming console that i actually got was in their 4th generation, my first sem class in RP is W64R. Haha sometime i really wonder if it is fate or what but my sister is 24 years old and i'm 20 so that makes me us a difference in 4 years of age. Her birthday is on 16th of may and my is on the 12th of may, so that makes a difference of 4 days apart. Even the timing when we were born, is 4 hours apart. FATE REALLY DOES EXIST GUYS. 

 

 

Never ever stop running, life is always full of obstacle, when a chance is given to you treasure it like its your life, things may not go your way the first time however it may be, learn to persevere and slowly but surely you see the fruits of your labour - RwEhD

A new flavor in my life

1. Life in Polytechnic

I truly believe that a person's fate is not tied and can be changed. After countless attempts, obstacles faced... i finally entered a new phase of my life. I went to Republic Polytechnic ("Like a fucking finally") at the age of 20. Yep, i know people normally enter poly at the average age of 17 and 18 but hey that means i'm special right? haha. So i was enrolled into the diploma of Mobile Software Development, i was like dafug i got no whatsoever experience in programming, website designs or any IT related background before.. how was i able to survive in this course. But as i said, so long as a person produce effort, anything is possible (I'll elaborate more on this later). After a month in RP, there only one thing to say. (THE BEST FUCKING CHOICE I EVER MADE). I had a very bad experience in ITE, well... not too bad but still. Anyway i came to RP trying to forget what i had back then, i wanted to start fresh, anew. I was considered really fortunate and lucky to meet some of them in RP, they showed me new definition and expectation in life.
                                                   
        If you're reading this guys, thanks and i really appreciate it. You made me into who i was originally was.                                  To more laughters and crazy stuffs in our 3 years at RP.

They said that i will fail in RP, they said that without any prior background or experience i'll lose interest easily. They said that history gonna repeat itself again in RP. Well you know what? FUCK YOU ALL.
#nottryingtoshowoff but seriously who dafug are you to comment about me, who make you the one to demoralise me?  Who say ITE students can't do it? we are also human. "People may betray you, but your efforts doesn't" #Quoteoftheday.

2. ITE Graduation Ceremony
ITE really gave me a lot of opportunities, Even if i had bad experience at ITE, i never regretted my course Higher Nitec in Leisure Travel Operations at ITE College West. I finally graduated with a final GPA of 3.1. I really want to thank my parents, teachers and my best study bud for all the support and study session we went to. I met with a selective few peeps who shared the same view as me, experienced what i had. I could say they are actually the peeps who made me push through the 2 years in ITE even with all those bad experiences. I think i was quite weird, people usually stay with their class, well (i don't want to talk to that point, my ite class was in my opinion average only, TBH i really felt like some loner, being judged even at the slightest action and being a follower well not all, at the very least there are still some in class that actually appreciated what i did and didn't treat me as an invisible individual.) at the grad ceremony, missing here and there haha cause i was busy taking pics with all the influential people in my ITE life, they actually came and saw through my graduation, how many time can you find this awesome people in life. BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!

3. Cat Cafe

Nekononiwa or Cat Cafe just opened this year, i was like so jealous cos other country like country has it while Singapore doesn't. I mean come on who doesn't like cuddling and playing with cats while having high tea? Haha. Cat cafe is located at boat quay, situated not far off shore to the mesmerizing Marina Bay Sand, you get nice scenery, cute and hyper active cats, a nice environment and good food!! its like paying a very competitively priced small amount for an entire package!!. A visit to Cat Cafe requires advanced booking due to overwhelming responses. 1st hour is $12 and subsequent 1/2 hour is $5, the price of the desserts and drinks there range from $2.50 to about $5. A tip though, try not to visit the Cat Cafe in the evening, as when i went there about half of them are asleep, so i guess that the cats there had used up their energy in the morning. The cats there were once abandoned and now they were adopted by the person who owned Cat Cafe, cats are living things too, they also have the rights to enjoy life. I was really glad to see that all the cats there were healthy and best. VERY CUTE TOO!! Overall if you would like to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is definitely the place to visit.

Fate is not bound to a person life, it is up to you to change it. Do not let anything obstruct you, Fear is a choice, Results is reality. If you genuinely want something, fight for it. Life would definitely be beautiful and full of exciting adventures if you would see things in an optimistic way. Live Life, Love Life - RwEhD :)

Top 10 must try beverages in Starbucks

Well strangely my last post was dated exactly 2 months ago, Weird #wordoftheday #lol.
Anyway i've been working in Starbucks for quite some time now, known most of the regulars there, to be honest its really interesting, knowing the beverage just by looking at their faces, haha. Anyway i gonna post another 10 stuffs shyte again. The following is soley based on my opinions and what i think is the more popular orders by consumers based on my Starbucks working experience. So without further ado, i present to you, the top 10 must try beverages in Starbucks.

1) Iced Vanilla Latte

This is by far my all time favourite drink in Starbucks, the triple shot 4 half ice Vanilla Latte. Well for people who like the taste of Espresso with the taste of a little sweetness, i recommend ordering this beverage. With an extra shot of Espresso, it brings out even more flavor of the coffee. With an additional 1/2 shot of Vanilla, it covers the bitterness of the Espresso. So if you are looking for strong flavor of coffee but afraid of its bitterness, this is the drink that you must try.

2) Oreo Frappuccino

This is one of the beverage from the "Starbucks's Secret Recipes". Its not listed on the official menu, but you are still welcome to try it. Though no real oreo cookies were added, this particular drink somehow has the exact same taste of oreo cookie with every sip. I bet everyone knows the taste of McDonald's Mc Flurry right? ya.... IT IS THE EXACT SAME TASTE, SAME TEXTURE AND SAME BRAIN FREEZE EFFECT. If you are looking to order this drink, you could tell Starbucks' Barista that you want a Chocolate Chip Cream but with White Chocolate Mocha sauce instead.  

3) Cotton Candy Frappuccino

This beverage is particularly popular whenever there are Primary School or Secondary School Students. IKR you just can't resist that striking color of pink. If you enjoy the taste of Cotton Candy, you would definitely like this beverage, every sip is like a mouthful of sweet tasty Cotton Candy, well without the stickiness of course. Cotton Candy Frappuccino is basically made of Raspberry Syrup, Vanilla Syrup, Creme Based Syrup, Milk and Ice. If you are looking to order this drink, you could tell the barista this recipe in the case if he/she doesn't know how to make it. 

4) Mango Passionfruit

 Sleepy? looking for sugar rush? Introducing Starbucks's Mango Passionfruit. Out of all the drinks i tried making and tasting, this is the sweetest beverage in Starbucks. However, the taste is awesome with a hint of Mango and strong taste Passionfruit compliment with crunchy ice, Mango Passionfruit is one of the must try if your thirsty or looking for drinks to keep you awake. If you are looking to get this drink, you might wanna ask the barista to pour the mango syrup to the first line indicated on the cup and you won't get too much of the sweetness.

5) Raspberry Blackcurrant

 I would strongly recommend this drink for kids. Why? because it taste exactly like RIBENA. So you could say that this is Ribena Frappuccino. This drink is best consumed within 30 min if not it would taste like diluted ribena, cos the ice really melts very fast, idk why but it happens especially in this drink.

6) Ice Shaken Lemon Zen Tea

This is one of the drink i always had before i start my work. It totally rejuvenate my energy. If you had tried Pokka P's Lemon Green Tea, Yup its the same sweetness and taste. However, the tea in this drink is Zen tea a.k.a green tea which have its own unique taste. This beverage is available in Zen tea and Hibiscus tea. If you had just finished your workout, this would be the one you would want to order to quench your thirst.

7) Iced Caramel Macchiato

I would say that this drink provides you a perfect balance between milk and coffee taste. However in my opinion i prefer it iced rather than hot. Well Macchiato beverage is meant to have the Espresso pour last through the foam of the milk then top with the signature macchiato cross hatch design with any syrup drizzle of your favorite. So if you like the taste of espresso first then milk, i would recommend the hot version of Caramel Macchiato, if not then the iced version would be good too. 

P.S ( its recommended you stir the cold version of the drink with a straw as its not pre stirred to preserve the design of Macchiato) 

8) Hazelnut Macchiato

Well the texture is the same as Caramel Macchiato, however for Hazelnut Macchiato i would recommend drinking the hot version. This is due to the thickness of Hazelnut drizzle syrup and the base Hazelnut syrup. At the end of the day it all comes to your own opinion, the cold version is fine too. 

9) Caramel Frappuccino

I would say this many many many many many times but always not enough to the customers, you must try this beverage with the whip cream!!!. Haha cos its not Caramel Frappuccino without the whip cream top with caramel drizzle (imo). Anyway, this drink got a stronger taste of coffee with a hint of caramel. Almost like... you are eating a toffee sweet.

10) Signature Ice Chocolate

After drinking this for like idk how many times, this particular drink taste exactly like MILO, yes you heard me Milo. Though after experimenting, if you put more milk instead of chocolate, the taste would be like drinking a HL Chocolate Milk. If you like my "MILO" recommendation, i would suggest ordering this drink and then you walk towards the Starbuck's store Condiment bar and grab the chocolate powder and then put it into the drink. YUM its like eating MILO candy bar.

Well thats its!! im still looking forward to working in Starbucks everyday, the experience is surreal, meeting lots of different customers everyday and connecting with them, chatting with them and eventually becoming close friends. Its really awesome!! Oh BTW Starbucks is still looking for Part Time Barista, Full Time Barista and Store Managers, if you are keen to work in the industry of Food and Beverage and experience how coffee are actually made before they reach the hands of customers then this job is for you!!. So long guys!! my next post might be in regards to the top 10 food you must try in Starbucks!!

10 obvious stuffs a guy does that shows he likes that girl

This is solely from my own or a guy's own perspective. So basically this topic just randomly appeared in my mind ( stuffs i think about when i'm bored ). I always thought that all guys do the same as me ( well maybe just a minority or only me ) idk.

10.The guy obtain his dream girl's hp no indirectly

Haha this prolly was what most guy are facing most of the time. We guys don't simply just ask the handphone no of that particular girl directly. We get their number thru like maybe if both the guy and the girl are classmates or cca friends then we create whatsapp groups right? Simply scroll through the group info and WALA the number appears. I noe using this way to obtain the number is abit "xia suey" la but sometime when a guy feels like "is this girl going to give me her number of what?, is she expecting me to make the first move?", this is the period where the method apply effectively. Who knows? that girl might be overjoy? ( You know after reading lots of blogs and articles on "Stuffs girls expect guys to do" etc ) Using indirect methods to obtain her number might be part of the "INITIATIVE" a girl expects maybe? lol

9.The guy takes note of every single detail of the girl naturally

I know most girls find it sweet but this is a obvious action that can be seen if the guy like that particular girl.

Lets say you already had obtain the number of the girl. Chat chat chat chat chat chat, then suddenly talks on the topic of fruits. The girl said "I want pomegranate" (what a weird fruit i noe but i get that alot). Someday on a special event or some random outing the guy gets that pomegranate or pomegranate juice for the girl. I KNOW RIGHT? like sometime we can fail our test or exams due to forgetfulness but somehow i don't know how but somehow WE (guys lah) remember this things very naturally, we don't particularly pay attention but in actual fact when faced in similar situation, that image of the text just appears before our minds. 

8.The guy can forget about his lunch, or friends outing just to spend time with his dream girl 

Even for a short while, it is still worth it just to even get a sneak glance of your pretty face. Lunch time for 1 hour? forget it i rather spend it with you. Every minute every seconds is worth spending with you. Even if you don't know that you like me even if you don't notice me i'll still try my best to spend it with you. Girls? this is what we guys usually do if we really like you. IDK some girls who did not even bother or notice us or better yet give us any hints, sometime we guys just want our particular dream girl to be happy. 

7.The guy do stuffs a girl tell her to do

Well there was once i was chatting to this girl that i like ( Some random chatting la ). Then she suddenly spam "I want Milktea, i want ice cream, i want donut, i want pizza, i want pasta" ikr girls haha. But somehow even if the guy cannot satisfy her, the guy still try his best to get one of her cravings to that girl. Sometime a bit of a "you don't venture, you don't gain" haha the guy deliver personally her cravings straight to her house door. Even if in wee hours, get woke up by her text we still do it... imagine if its our family member asking us to go downstairs to buy daily necessity lol i don't even want to get there. 人就是这样,有兴趣的东西不管有多辛苦我们还是会尽心尽力去把它做好. Meaning people are like this, once we are interested no matter how tough how boring how le che or mafan it is we still do it, it satisfy us. 

6.The guy pauses his game to chat with his dream girl

Well.... i'm like that. Even if im about to die in game soon ( Don't go there, i'm not a dota or diablo person in fact i actually yawn and slept before the game even started ). IMO that girl text me, at the very least i text her back even if in game that bad ass boss is kicking your ass and you are at the brink of death, i would just restart the game and go thru the ordeal again. Well that's just me. Game is game, girl i like is girl i like, its 2 different things and i prioritize which one is more important. 

5.The guy immediately arrange his hair or outfit whenever he spotted his dream girl

So obvious la, who wants to look ugly, messy or unkempt in front of the person you like. You'll die trying to get her just to glance you even if its for a second. I mean ya la most guys or you could say all guys does that, you be like "Wheres the mirror wheres the mirror, wait i could just use this as my reflection, Whip out le phone and check for messy hair" haha wtf

4.The guy stutter while talking to his dream girl

Consider it nervous but yeh we guys do actually. Some girls immediately thru this realise that the guy actually like her, well some don't. IDK we stutter because we consistently dk what to say, our minds are blank. At the same time we want to impress you girls, at the same time we don't want to portray an "HAO LIAN" image to you girls. The inconsistent balance made us stutter like alot. So here a tip, let the girl talk first. We guys usually just go with the flow and slowly but surely the conversation goes smoothly and both party would not realize that time actually bypass really quickly when you're really into it. #tipoftheday

3.Guy's friends separate themselves when they spotted his dream girl

This is a obvious scene too. This shows that the guy already told his friend that he like that girl therefore to prevent being the lightbulb they separate themselves and leave it to the 2 love birds. HAHA this is not the end, the guy friend will then follow them and then sit one corner  看好戏 or watch "MOVIE" if you know what i mean. Sometimes this happens, sometimes it happened in another way. Well you see even if the guy already told his friend, they sometime very 欠打 or deserved to be wacked always want to KA JIAO. They see their particular friend's dream girl, they will say whatever things that make both of them very paiseh or embarrassed especially towards the guy, They be like "eh you want to eat together anot? or you want to eat with her and then... you know ah.. then all together they shout "OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Yup thats when reality hits you hard.

2.The guy always gives in to his girl

Maybe it affect our conscience, maybe it is us acting as a gentleman but during a friendly game, during a bonding session ( don't say competition la ) we guys would give in to the girl that we like. YES WE PURPOSELY LOSE so that the girl can win. Its that smile on her face, that smile is the actual prize a guy wants. Lets say there is this water balloon game, all water balloon are thrown but you had 2 in your hand. You were about to throw the balloon when suddenly, your crush appear before you, telling you not to throw it... well telling you to pass it to her. The guy lose in the end. Even if the guy loses, he will still have that sense of victory as he saw her smiling face. So girls? next time when you see a guy does that to you, you know what that means.

1.The guy is always the first to comfort his dream girl

Thats right, even faster then the girl's friends. Because once you like someone, you don't have to read from her face, you feel it in your heart that she's sad. There are also times we guys would leave you because we wanted to give you girls some space, we do not want to appear inferior to your private space, a time where you would just need time to adjust. However do not forget, the guy will always be there for you. As guys we might suck trying to be romantic and all sort but when it comes to comforting we usually, naturally choose the right time and right words to say to prevent any further harm or damage to the girl's heart. 

Soooooo basically that sums up what i wanted to say. I'm saying this again, this is purely from what i experienced and from a typical guy's perspective. Feels great to just type it all out rather then just thinking it to myself. 3 CHEERS for first post and new blog.
